Meet Rowdy Love
A folk duo featuring Aaron Jernigan and Stina Lynn. Rowdy Love has an interesting flavor, reminiscent of Sunday morning church in the deep South with a dash of feverish passion.

About
Rowdy Love
Aaron Jernigan and Stina Lynn are wild souls who met on a little farm in Haiku, Hawai’i over a decade ago. On that first meeting, they wailed away on their guitars singing covers that they both knew by Mississippi John Hurt, Johnny Cash, John Prine, and Gillian Welch.
Seeing as they both had the same taste in music they decided to start singing tunes together at parties and potlucks. A few years later they ventured out into another realm of genius and wrote their first song together. Sitting at a kitchen table with a bottle of wine, whiskey, strawberries, and a bowl of cigarettes, they had their firstborn song and named it Rowdy Love. It was a hit, and alas Rowdy Love duo was birthed into this world!

Latest Release
The new Rowdy Love Single “Screen Door” was written by Aaron Jernigan and is about a steamy Southern Sunday afternoon when two young star-crossed lovers get caught in a roll in the bedroom between church services. Absorbed in lustful passion for one another, they lose track of time and hear the sound of the front door squeaking open. The pious parents have just entered the house, and the two of them have to explain their blushing cheeks and wrinkled church clothes. The fried chicken is on the table, the father is walking down the hallway, and their bibles are out in the rain as they scramble to a frantic rockabilly track to right themselves for judgment singing “Honey how will we explain?”
“Screen Door” was produced and recorded by Eric Helmkamp with Aaron Jernigan on the guitar and vocals accompanied by Christina Lynn with Eric Helmkamp on bass and drums.
